Vote in Our Town Elections

We encourage all eligible voters to vote in Arlington’s annual town elections. Here is some information to help:

Wednesday, March 22 – last day to register to vote
Monday, March 27 – last day to request a mailed ballot
Saturday, April 1 – Election Day, Polls open 8 AM – 8 PM

Voting by Mail is happening now. Ballots have been mailed to voters. Track My Ballot lets you check the status of your application, the date your ballot was mailed to you and when it was received by the Town Clerk.

Early Voting In Person at the Town Clerk’s Office:
Saturday, March 25: 10 AM – 3 PM
Monday, March 27: 8 AM – 4 PM
Tuesday, March 28: 8 AM – 4 PM
Wednesday, March 29: 8 AM – 7 PM

Get to Know the Candidates

March 23 Candidates’ Night
Envision Arlington and the League of Women Voters of Arlington will host Candidates Night on March 23, 2023 in the Town Hall Auditorium. Candidates for Town Meeting and current Town Meeting Members are invited to meet with constituents at 7:30 pm. The forum for town wide candidates will begin at 8:00 pm.  The event will be carried live on ACMi and will be recorded for rebroadcast.  Questions for the candidates are being solicited from the public in advance, by March 8th. You can submit questions for the candidates here.

ACMi Select Board and School Committee Debate Videos
Arlington Community Media, Inc. has conducted and recorded debate videos for contested town-wide races in Arlington’s 2023 elections. These roughly 50-60 minute long debates include each of the candidates for the Select Board and School Committee races.

ACMi Candidate Profile Videos
Arlington Community Media, Inc. (ACMi) has produced and posted Candidate Profile videos for candidates in town-wide races in Arlington’s 2023 annual town election. In these roughly 5-minute videos, candidates make their individual campaign statements. The Candidate Profile videos are available on YouTube at the links below.

March 16 Virtual TMM Candidates’ Night
Through the Civic Engagement Group, Envision Arlington is hosting a Virtual/Remote Candidates’ Night via Zoom only for the Town Meeting Member Races. This Candidates’ Night will take place on March 16 at 7:30 p.m., and it is in addition to the in-person Candidates’ Night that will take place at Town Hall on March 23. Whether the race in a precinct is contested or not, this Candidates’ Night is another good opportunity for incumbent and prospective Town Meeting Members to meet the residents in their precincts as well as each other. Register before the meeting so that you can get assigned to the correct virtual room for your precinct.
